About Miss Vandenbroek
This is my 8th year with AISD. I'm very excited about a new year at Shackelford because I love combining my love of reading and my love for teaching.
In 2008 I had the privilege of going on a once in a lifetime trip to Beijing, China. Here is a quick pick at some of the beautiful sights I saw while I was there. It doesn't even begin to express how wonderful the Chinese people were to us or what a beautiful country we experienced. Enjoy!

The smell of peppermint upsets my stomach
I love Mexican food
My ipod's music selection is pretty eclectic
My favorite sport to watch is baseball (Go A's, Rockies, or Rangers)
Favorite sport to participate in skiing or golf (although not great at either)
I was born in Berkeley, CA
My favorite books: Classic: Northanger Abbey, YA: Inkheart, Picture: The Maggie B.
I enjoy singing at Church
I had multiple poems published when I was younger
I've been an only child, middle sister, and an oldest sister
On learning styles tests I have strange results (I use all categories equally)
I'm currently supposed to be working on a novel
I have three nephews
I'm going to Vancouver in February
